PointState Capital aims to achieve superior capital appreciation by pursuing multiple investment strategies including, but not limited to long/short equities, global macro, investing in commodity and commodity-related industries, high yield and distressed credit, event-driven/special situations investing, relative value investing and private investments.

Arosa focuses on investments in energy and related sectors. The firm seeks a differentiated approach to the opportunity set, for both traditional and alternative energy, through rigorous fundamental analysis and holistic evaluation of the sector to seek investment opportunities across the capital structure, in both public and private companies, real assets and commodities.
