Stephen H.
Hollis had been President and Chief Executive Officer of Double Eagle Petroleum Co. since January 1994.
He served as a Director of Double Eagle Petroleum from December 1989 to June 2, 2008.
Previously, he served as Vice President of Double Eagle Petroleum from December 1989 to January 1994.
Mr. Hollis has served as Vice President of Hollis Oil & Gas Co. since January 1994 and served as President from June 1986 to January 1994.
In 1979, he joined Marathon Oil Company and held various positions until 1986, when he founded Hollis Oil & Gas.
He was a Geologist for an affiliate of United Nuclear Corporation from 1974 to 1977 and a Consulting Geologist from 1977 to 1979.
He is a past President of the Wyoming Geological Association and the Rocky Mountain Section of the AAPG.
Mr. Hollis received a BA in Geology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1972 and a Master's degree in Geology from Bryn Mawr College in 1974.
