Mr. Shawn S.
Woods, CFA MBA, is a Director of Public Investment Research at Soltis Investment Advisors LLC.
He oversees the firm’s screening, due diligence, and monitoring of public investments.
He has developed proprietary tools to enhance the firm’s investment management process.
He also serves as a portfolio manager for several investment portfolios, including the Soltis Equity Income Stock portfolio, Soltis Hedged Equity portfolio, and SIA Risk-based Institutional CIT models.
He is a key member of the firm’s Investment Committee, Asset Allocation Committee, and Compliance Committee.
With over 11 years of investment experience, he has been a valuable part of Soltis since January 2013.
He holds a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder, where his studies focused on investment management, corporate finance, and entrepreneurial finance.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Weber State University, where he also played quarterback for the Wildcats.
