Prior to joining KKR & Co., Ms. Goel was a senior member of AlpInvest Partners.
Before that, she was with Capital Z Investment Partners, where she was a Vice President responsible for investing in emerging private equity managers in the United States and Asia.
Previously, she was an Associate at Atlas Venture responsible for sourcing and investing in early-stage technology companies.
Prior to Atlas, Saleena was an Analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where she invested directly in buyouts and worked on corporate finance deals.
Bringing several years of related private equity experience to AlpInvest Partners, Saleena is responsible for fund investments across all private equity market segments.
Ms. Goel received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in finance, summa cum laude, from the University of Michigan, where she was elected Phi Beta Kappa and a James B.
Angell Scholar.
She holds advisory board seats including Carlyle Partners, Chrys Capital, Court Square Capital, Falcon Mezzanine, Highland Consumer Fund, Huron Capital, Prudential Capital Partners, PNC Mezzanine, and Sun Capital.
