Dr. Clower received his law degree (J.D., cum laude, 2009) from the University at Buffalo School of Law where he was also a graduate research fellow.
He was the recipient of the 2009 ABA and BNA Award for Excellence in the study of IP law and the 2008 Harold A. Dautch Memorial Scholarship.
During law school, Dr. Clower was an associate member of the Buffalo Intellectual Property Law Journal (2006-2008).
He graduated from the University at Buffalo Graduate School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (Ph.D., microbiology and immunology, 2006) where he was a recipient of the Pre-doctoral NIH Training Grant Fellowship for microbial pathogenesis research (2003-2005).
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in recombinant gene technology from the State University of New York at Fredonia (summa cum laude, 2001).
