Pierre Lapointe

Lapointe is a Vice Chairman & Senior Director at Jarislowsky, Fraser Ltd.
He has held various senior positions, including more than 15 years as Executive Vice President and the last six years as President and Chairman of the Executive Committee.
Having spent the last few decades providing client service for institutional and important private family portfolios, he directly oversees the firm's Private Wealth Management division.
Prior to joining the firm in 1985, Mr. Lapointe was previously employed as Principal by Bank of Montreal and Wood Gundy.
He received his MA degree from the University of Aberdeen (Scotland) and an MBA from University of Western Ontario (Ivey School of Business).
He also sits on several boards, most notably, the Board of Trustees of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, The National Ballet School Foundation, the Fondation de l’Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont and the Jean Béliveau Foundation.
