PPIM is an active, GARP-oriented manager which invests in European equity and debt, with a focus on Eastern Europe and particularly on the Polish market. Their fund investment approach is conservative. Portfolios are diversified across countries and largely favor fixed-income securities. Research and portfolio management are shared with Pioneer subsidiaries, particularly for products based on Pioneer funds. For discretionary portfolios, the firm seeks to achieve returns in excess of their strategic benchmark. They structure portfolio management strategy around client requirements taking into account acceptable risk levels, liquidity of the portfolio and investment horizon. Once they establish the client's risk/return profile, PPIM develops an investment strategy based on fundamental analysis, growth of listed companies, valuation of stock exchange indexes, investment risk and the macroeconomic environment.
