Lonnie Schield

Lawrence (Lonnie) Schield, Jr., is an Operating Partner with Building Industry Partners.
He has more than 40 years of experience in the building and construction industry.
Most recently, he served as head of The Terry Companies/Stock Building Supply, a $370 million lumber and building-supply business in Southern California.
In 2000, he presided over the sale of the company to Carolina Holdings, Inc., the largest building material supplier in the United States.
Prior to joining Terry in 1997, Lonnie spent two decades as a housing developer and builder, completing a wide range of successful residential and commercial projects.
Throughout his career, Lonnie has held leadership positions at numerous community and philanthropic organizations.
Lonnie earned his BS in Construction Management from California State University, Long Beach.
He and his wife, Lorraine, have been married for 45 years and have one daughter, Claire.
