Gerard Vecchio

Prior to joining Century in 2005, Mr. Vecchio was a Partner at Conning Capital Partners, a private equity fund manager specializing in financial services and health care services.
During Mr. Vecchio’s twelve year tenure at Conning, he concentrated on making investments in property-casualty insurers, outsourcing firms servicing insurance clients, and health care service providers engaged in managing and assuming insurance risks.
In his capacity as an investor, Mr. Vecchio served on numerous boards as a director or observer including Arlberg Holdings Company, Inc., Cogent Health Care, Inc., Familymeds, Inc., Home Financial Network, NYMAGIC, Inc., Paradigm Health Care, Paula Financial, Ward North America, Inc. Prior to Conning, Mr. Vecchio held investment banking positions with The Firemark Group and Nesbitt Thompson Securities, Inc. where he specialized in the insurance industry.
Mr. Vecchio holds a AB in English and Political Science from Middlebury College and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
