Benjamin G. Ammons

Mr. Ammons is an active private investor and serves on the Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards of numerous private companies.
He currently is serving as Chairman of Austin Capital Corp.
Mr. Ammons retired as Corporate Executive Vice President and an Officer of Firestone Tire & Rubber Company.
He was President of the Diversified Products Group which included six major independent and diverse divisions with total sales over one billion dollars.
Prior to joining Firestone, Mr. Ammons’ positions included Executive Vice President of Carlisle Tire & Rubber, and Corporate Director of Business Planning and Development for the B.F.
Goodrich Company.
Mr. Ammons has been active with numerous community service and development boards, including the Big Brothers Big Sisters (National Board of Directors and Executive Committee), Ohio Ballet, Akron Symphony and Akron Art Institute.
He is also a Past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Akron.
Mr. Ammons holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron, and MBA from Purdue University.
He also served as officer in the U.S.
Air Force.
