He is a an Advisor of the Essex, King & Queen, and King William County Farm Service Agency Committee.
Mr. Lane is a Member of the Northern Neck Vegetable Growers Association, Inc., the Essex Extension Leadership Council, Essex Masonic Lodge #126, and Grace Episcopal Church.
He was a Member of the Essex County Farm Bureau.
