W. Richard Roth

Rich is a Senior Operating Partner with Stonepeak and supports Stonepeak’s investments in water infrastructure.
Prior to joining the Stonepeak team, Rich spent twenty-seven years at SJW Group, a publicly-traded water utility, where he was most recently Chairman, President and CEO.
At SJW Group, Rich was the principal architect of large complex public-private partnerships, including lease concessions, contract service agreements, and acquisitions, most notably acquisition and development of a water and wastewater utility in Central Texas.
Rich worked for KPMG for nine years prior to joining SJW Group.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Montana and a Bachelor of Science from Montana State University.
