Rist is a Managing Director of Silverfern and brings over 20 years of private equity, strategy consulting and international management experience to the Silverfern team.
Based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Rist leads Silverfern’s investments in Europe.
In addition to interfacing with Silverfern’s investment partners, Rist also has intensive contact with senior management, CEOs, company founders and owners of European companies.
Prior to Silverfern, Rist was most recently a management consultant advising both large international companies as well as Dutch mid-sized companies in the field of strategic, operational, financial and business development issues.
After a period of more than 10 years of operating in the international business market (Europe, Americas and Asia), Rist was active in the Netherlands for a Dutch independent investment firm in the midmarket in both direct and co-investment transactions.
Rist earned his Master of Philosophy degree from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, and his Master of Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management.
He is fluent in Dutch, English and French.
