CECP Advisors (CECP-UK) is the Great Britain-based venture capital subsidiary of global private equity investment group Carlyle Group LLC, ultimately held by the Carlyle Group LP (NASDAQ: CG) in the US. The group has additional offices throughout Europe in Barcelona, Frankfurt, Luxembourg, Milan, Munich, Paris, Stockholm and Warsaw. Formerly known as CECP Investment Advisors Ltd., the firm was established in 1997 and is based in London. They cooperate closely with Carlyle offices in Paris, Munich, Milan and Barcelona, sub-advising private equity funds for the parent group. They manage the Carlyle Europe Partners series of buyout funds, as well as venture capital funds, all domiciled in Luxembourg. JPMorgan Mansart Management Ltd. (Mansart) is the Great Britain-based specialist asset management subsidiary of Bear Stearns Cos. LLC, which is ultimately held by JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) in the US. Headquartered in London, the firm was founded in 2007 and previously known as Bear Stearns International Ltd. They were initially established in 1980 and were renamed in 2009 following the 2008 acquisition of the Bear Stearns group by JPMorgan.
