Michael Lane

Michael is a principal in the Private Clients and Business Services division of Pitcher Partners Adelaide.
He joined the practice in 1983 and was admitted as a principal in 1988.
He is a past Managing Principal of the practice.
Michael specializes in providing strategic management and tax advice to family owned and managed businesses, and their investment activities.
Throughout his career Michael has been actively involved in his client’s business affairs, holding board positions and attending management and advisory board meetings.
He is also experienced in succession planning and implementation of succession plans.
Throughout his career, he has gained significant experience providing services to clients in the following areas: Property Development Building & Construction Mining & Resources Medical Not-for-Profit Agribusiness Wine Industry His areas of expertise include: Strategic business advice Business planning Succession planning Business structuring Risk management Financial reporting Financial applications Mergers Acquisitions Income tax and capital gains tax Michael is a member of the Chartered Accountants ANZ and is certified as a Charter Tax Advisor.
He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and has a BA in Economics from Adelaide University in Australia.
