Optimum Growth Advisors (OGA) implements their clients' investment objectives through asset allocation. They manage portfolios of all equity securities, balanced portfolios containing both equity and fixed-income securities and portfolios of all fixed-income securities. Investments in fixed-income securities are made in US Treasury notes, bonds and AA or higher municipal bonds. They also utilize preferred equities with dividend yields to enhance the fixed-income allocation. OGA's investment philosophy is based on the idea of buy and hold. They seek to invest in the best companies that are in the process of defining their industries and leading them into the future. OGA places a strong emphasis on earnings growth rates and the quality of management. They take a long-term view to investing with a time horizon of 3 to 5 years. They seek to own the growth leaders of today and invest in the growth leaders of tomorrow. OGA looks for companies that are defining their markets and are not dictated by them, that are in the expanding phase of their growth cycle, are industry leaders, have superior management and have strong financials (low debt, earnings-to-growth driven). OGA will sell when anticipated earnings growth falls below the targeted real rate of return of the company, when the company is no longer in the expansion phase of the earnings cycle and when ongoing portfolio evaluation and investing in new growth areas require that holdings in a fully invested portfolio be reduced.
