Spence is a Fund Manager at Legal & General Investment Management Ltd.
He joined LGIM in June 2002.
He began his investment career in 1992.
In 2000 he spent a year working for a computer software company, utilizing his extensive computing skills.
He then moved to Hermes, where he managed the Far East and US portfolios and was, jointly, responsible for the European and UK portfolios, using replication and Barra to manage the funds.
He spent most of his career at Alliance Capital/Dimensional Asset Management as a Portfolio Manager.
He has a B.Sc.
from London University in Mathematics and Economics and an MBA in Finance from City University.
