He also served as Chairman & CEO of St. Paul Protective Insurance Co. and St. Paul Fire & Casualty Insurance Co. Fishman was Chairman, President & CEO of The St. Paul Cos., Inc. and Executive Chairman of The Travelers Cos., Inc. He was also Chairman of Travelers Excess & Surplus Lines Insurance Co. and Vice Chairman of The Kennedy Center Corporate Fund.
Fishman served as an Independent Director of Exxon Mobil Corp.
and Director of Nuveen Investments, Inc. He was also a Director of Platinum Underwriters Holdings Ltd., Carlyle Group Management LLC, New York Philharmonic, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Inc., Chief Executives For Corporate Purpose, Inc., and National Academy Foundation.
