Ian Chong

Mr. Ian Chong, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager & Vice President at Neuberger Berman Singapore Pte Ltd. He is a Portfolio Manager on the Emerging Markets Debt team based in Singapore, focusing on China onshore fixed income portfolios.
He has been based in both Singapore and Shanghai and was previously involved in Asian fixed income and currencies for both dedicated Asian and Global Emerging Market local-currency debt portfolios.
He has over 15 years of industry experience.
Mr. Chong joined the firm from ING Investment Management where he held a similar role.
Before that, he was a portfolio specialist within Investment Management Asia-Pacific at UBS.
He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
