Felix P. Herlihy

Felix Herlihy has over 20 years of investment and advisory experience and joined Istithmar in 2006 as Chief Investment Officer.
He is responsible for driving Istithmar’s global investment strategy, including overseeing its global investment portfolio and managing the industry verticals.
Prior to joining Istithmar, Mr. Herlihy was a Managing Director at IFIL USA where he led the US direct investing activities of IFIL Investments SpA - the investment vehicle of the Agnelli Group of Italy with net assets in excess of $5 billion.
Before IFIL, Mr. Herlihy spent 18 years with Lehman Brothers in New York and London where he was a Managing Director and a Principal of Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking (LBMB).
Prior to joining LBMB in 1995 to focus exclusively on private equity investing, Felix spent 10 years as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers where he worked on a wide variety of corporate finance and M&A transactions.
Felix began his professional career at Fred Alger Management where he was a Senior Portfolio Analyst.

Herlihy holds an MBA from Columbia Business School where he was a Samuel Bronfman Scholar and an AB magna cum laude in Economics from Harvard College.
