Mantiq invests primarily in Brazilian infrastructure projects, and focuses on sectors such as telecommunications, natural gas transportation and distribution, power generation and distribution, waste management, water treatment, roads including toll roads, railways, ports and airports. They invest across development stages from pre-construction projects to expansion and refinancing. The firm invests USD 20-65 million per project over several financing rounds, in the form of direct equity, senior debt or mezzanine financing. They aim for diversification across sub-sectors. Their investment horizon is around twelve years for greenfield projects and seven years for capex financing projects.
