Magdi Habib Yacoub is the founder of Chain of Hope, which was founded in 1995.
He is currently the Director of the International Society for Cardiovascular Translational, a Professor at Imperial College London, and a Trustee at Dar Al Fouad Hospital.
He has previously worked as a Director at TransMedics, Inc., a Professor-Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Florence from 2002 to 2013, and a Professor at The National Heart & Lung Institute.
Dr. Yacoub received his undergraduate degree from the University of Cairo.
