BayernLB-PE is an active manager investing in medium-sized growth companies across sectors, primarily in Germany. They do not invest in the real estate or financial services sectors and do not provide early-stage financing. The firm seeks to invest EUR 2.5 to 30 million in companies with turnover of at least EUR 15 million, taking majority and minority stakes and seeking board representation. Their typically invest in transactions including MBO, MBI, shareholder restructuring, corporate succession, spin-offs and expansion financing. BayernLB-PE generally holds an investment for three to ten years before exiting through an industrial sale, financial sale or IPO.
