Hoffman, CFA MBA, is an Independent Trustee at ALTX Trust, a Chief Investment Officer at Netherby Advisors LLC and a Managing Member at Samoset Alternative Strategies GP I LLC.
He is on the Board of Directors at ALTX Trust.
He chairs Netherby’s Investment Committee focusing on investment research, strategy, risk management and portfolio construction.
He has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently serving as a Managing Director of Samoset Capital Group LLC, and Chief Investment Officer of Samoset Wealth Management where he was responsible for all aspects of the organization’s investment process and programs.
Prior to joining Samoset in 2007, Mr. Hoffman was the Chief Investment Officer of Managers Investment Group where he was instrumental in growing the firm’s products and services from under $1 Billion to over $8 Billion in assets under management.
He is a graduate of Lehigh University and the Leonard N.
Stern School of Business at New York University.
Additionally, he has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of CFAI and the New York Society of Security Analysts.
