Susan Wright

Susan Wright sources and executes Intellectual Property (IP) commercialization efforts for USAA. Providing leadership to internal and external cross-functional teams, Susan brings USAA Innovation and IP solutions to market.
Prior to joining USAA, Susan served in the U.S.
Air Force as a warranted Contracting Officer, a Training Command instructor, and the Career-Development-Course writer for Contracting Specialists.
Susan earned her bachelor's degree in Education from Wayland Baptist University, an Executive Certificate in Negotiations from the University of Notre Dame, and industry certifications in Strategic Alliances and Product Management.
Susan enjoys volunteering at the local food bank and with Habitat for Humanity and spending time with her growing Texas family.
