He has over 29 years’ international experience in areas covering banking, strategic planning and risk management, spanning the UK and the Middle East.
He started his banking career in Bahrain with GIB as a corporate officer in 1980.
He then moved to Citibank, where he spent the next 17 years managing the Bank’s corporate portfolio and risk management in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
He later joined Credit Suisse private banking, and subsequently worked with Ghobash Investment & Trading.
He has a joint Biochemistry and Zoology major from the University of London, UK; and has served as Board member for various non-profit organizations.
