Robert Michael Lea

Mr. Robert M.
Lea is a Head of Global Equity Research at Ashburton (Jersey) Ltd. He is responsible for managing the equity research team; planning and developing Ashburton’s equity research products, as well as setting equity strategy by market and sector.
He joined the firm in 2017 and has over 22 years’ experience in the finance industry.
He has held a number of senior posts in equity research, including as a Global Equity Research Sector Head and Strategist at UBS, Head of Taiwan Research and Head of Asia Tech equity research strategy.
Mr. Lea was top-three ranked as an Analyst in the Extel / II surveys of institutional fund managers, in both the European and Asian markets.
Mr. Lea received his BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London.
He is also a Chartered Accountant.
