Mr. Peter R.
Vig is Managing Director at RoundRock Capital Partners LP.
From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Vig was a portfolio manager concentrating on large capitalization value portfolios at Barrow, Hanley, Mewhinney & Strauss, Inc. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Tiger Management in New York from 1997 to 1999 where he was responsible for the energy sector, reporting to Julian Robertson.
Peter's 34-year career in the investment industry includes positions at Montgomery Securities, where he was a Partner, and Oppenheimer & Company, where he served as a Limited Partner.
Early in his career, while at Shearson Hammill, Peter worked under Walter Mintz and Don Cecil, the founders of Cumberland Partners, considered one of the most successful hedge funds and the one with perhaps the greatest longevity.
Prior to joining Tiger, he served as Chairman & CEO of Toreador Royalty Corporation, a publicly traded mineral company owning oil and gas rights under 500,000 net acres in West Texas.
Mr. Vig received a BBA degree in Finance and an MBA degree from the University of Georgia.
