The OIC invests the assets of the OPERF in the following asset classes: Domestic Equity, International Equity, Fixed Income, Real Estate, Private Equity, Opportunity, Alternatives, and Cash. Of total fund assets, 5 percent of OPERF is targeted for investment in equities, inclusive of private equity. For a majority of OPERF's fixed income allocation, multiple active generalist managers are used, rather than the specialist manager approach used within the fund's public equity allocation.

Acts as Private Equity Fund

Fan Asset Management's investment philosophy is to add value through their General Capital Asset Pricing Model (GCAPM), which relies on the premise that if an asset's expected return increases and/or its beta-risk premium decreases, higher asset prices will follow. The firm employs top-down analysis of the capital markets macro environments and bottom-up analysis of individual firms' fundamentals to construct superior portfolios relative to any given investment mandate at any point in time. Their Sustainable Earnings Growth (SEG) strategies look for assets that have stronger earnings fundamentals and are under more favorable macro economic and business environments. The strategy involves both top-down relative style/sector allocation and bottom-up stock selection. Fan Asset Management's SEG product offerings include Large Cap Growth and Mid Cap Growth. The firm's Enhanced Micro Cap Index Fund strategy is an enhanced index fund strategy that creates an exposure in the micro-cap segment of the capital market with an enhanced alpha. Fan Asset Management's Tactical Style Beta (TSB) Strategies are top-down asset allocation strategies that allocate capital among the capital market's canonical asset classes and equity styles. These product offerings include Large Cap Style Allocation and Large/Small Cap Rotation strategy.
