Michael R. McAlevey

Michael R.
McAlevey is currently the Chairman at Washington & Lee University.
He is also the Executive VP, Chief Legal & Administrative Officer at HCA Healthcare, Inc. and the Vice President-Legal Operations & General Counsel at GE Aviation Systems LLC.
Previously, he worked as a Director at GE Capital Markets, Inc. He also served as the Deputy Director-Finance Division at the US Securities & Exchange Commission from 1998 to 2002.
From 2003 to 2011, he was a Principal at GE Aerospace.
Prior to that, he was a Partner at Alston & Bird LLP from 1990 to 1998.
He also held the position of Principal at Georgetown University Law Center.
From 2018 to 2022, he worked as the Vice President & General Counsel at GE Healthcare Technologies, Inc. In terms of education, Mr. McAlevey completed his undergraduate degree at Washington & Lee University and obtained his graduate degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
