The non-profit company is based in Karachi, Pakistan. It is a non-profit healthcare organization dedicated to eliminating leprosy and controlling tuberculosis and blindness in underserved and marginalized communities through comprehensive, person-centered care. The organization operates 157 centers and a 27-bed hospital across multiple provinces, providing free medical services such as outpatient and inpatient care, specialized clinics for leprosy, eye care, dermatology, chest diseases, dental care, mother and child healthcare, audiometry, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, laboratory diagnostics, cataract surgeries, and nutrition programs. It collaborates with federal and provincial health departments, integrating its centers within government hospital premises and employing government paramedical staff trained and supported by the organization. Marie Adelaide Leprosy Centre also partners with international donors, corporate supporters, and community stakeholders to sustain and expand its services.
