Linda Sjöström joined BankInvest Biomedical Venture team as Partner in early 2001.
She focuses on investments within drug discovery and drug development.
Mrs. Sjöström has been an active member of the venture capital community for more than 14 years, working with life science and biotechnology for Danish Venture Finance A/S and now BankInvest.
Before that she worked more than 17 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
Prior positions include Managing Director of the Danish subsidiary of Syntex Inc. (now bought by Roche) and other positions with Schering, Ciba-Geigy (now Novartis) and Rhône-Poulenc (now Aventis).
Mrs. Sjöström holds a master's degree in Chemical Engineering with an emphasis on Biochemistry.
