Jon B. Willis

As a Senior Research Analyst, evaluates real estate investment products and managers for Russell Real Estate Advisors.
Jon has 27 years of experience in various facets of real estate.
Before joining Russell in 2001, Jon was senior vice president and national director of Investment Analysis for Metric Realty Advisors (now SSR Realty Advisors), where he supervised the acquisition due diligence for over $2 billion in institutional property investments across the U.S.
Subsequently he managed a private consulting practice completing valuations, market analyses and feasibility studies for commercial property developments in the Pacific Northwest.
He also assisted U.S.
investment groups in analyzing and acquiring large commercial loan portfolios in Tokyo and outlying areas of Japan.
Jon is a member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute (CCIM).
He has been a guest lecturer in real estate investments at Stanford University and the University of California at Berkeley.
Jon received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of New Mexico, a B.A. in Business from the University of Hawaii, an M.A. from the University of Hawaii, and a Graduate Certificate in Urban Planning from the University of Hawaii.
