Prior to co-founding SeaView Mezzanine Fund, LP, Mr. Stone worked in New York as a Principal of Smith McDonnell Stone & Co., Inc., a leverage buyout group which invested in four separate transactions with an aggregate market value of $150 million.
Before 1990, Mr. Stone applied his talents to numerous companies that he owned and operated, including Robert Williams, Inc., a plastic film converting operation, which doubled its sales before being sold to Flexel; and the Musical Properties Division of CBS that included the world‘s premiere piano maker, Steinway & Sons.
From 1976 to 1980, Mr. Stone was a Senior Vice President of The Boston Company responsible for the firm’s $5.4 billion dollar institutional asset management business.
He was a founding General Partner of Boston Hambro Capital Corporation, a Limited Partnership SBIC.
