Greg Fernance

Greg was appointed to the position of Director of the Investment and Capital Management Office in January 2005, following an extensive career in the private sector spanning more than 20 years.
During the mid-1990s he was Head of the Australian Fixed Interest Division of AMP Investments Pty Ltd. In 1998, Greg moved across to the Private Equity Division of AMP Investments where he spent several years as a Director within the investment banking team.
Since joining the University of Sydney in 2003, he has fulfilled a number of roles including that of Manager of Private Equity and Commercialisation.
Greg is chairman of the Asset/Liability Committee, a member of the Gift Advisory Board and an integral part of the Investment and Commercialisation Committee (a committee of Senate).
