Gerard H. Bencen

Mr. Bencen is a registered patent attorney with extensive experience in the preparation, prosecution, and enforcement of patent, trademark, copyright and other intellectual property rights.
He has experience both in the private and corporate practice of intellectual property law, having received his J.D.
from Rutgers School of Law while working in the Merck & Co. patent department.
Mr. Bencen was the intellectual property counsel for Regeneration Technologies for more than five years.
With a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Biophysics from the University of Houston, Mr. Bencen has over ten years of hands-on experience as a biochemist and molecular biologist for California Biotechnology, Upjohn and Merck prior to beginning his law career.
