Farah Omran

Ms. Farah Omran is an Economist at Scotia Capital, Inc. She joined Scotiabank Economics in February 2021 as an Economist.
She works with the team on stress-testing and modelling as a primary responsibility.
In addition she leads the department's research into the Canadian housing and labour markets.
She joins the firm from the C.D.
Howe Institute where she previously held a policy analyst position.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Toronto, where she was a fellow at Massey College.
