Mr. Claude P.
Lixi is a Portfolio Manager at Galena Asset Management Ltd. He has over 16 years' experience in the oil and oil derivative trading markets.
Mr. Lixi joined the Trafigura Group in February 2009 to establish their oil trading fund.
Prior to joining Trafigura, he was Senior Options Trader in the oil derivatives trading desk at Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Lixi was in charge of Europe and Asia's oil options trading.
He had previously spent 7 years at BP in London and Chicago where he established and was responsible for BP's oil options proprietary trading worldwide.
Mr. Lixi was Global Co-Head of the oil derivatives trading and marketing teams.
He has also worked for Elf Trading (now Totalfina Elf) and TFS.
Mr. Lixi graduated from the Institut National des Telecommunications (Paris, France) and holds a post graduate in International Finance from HEC (Paris, France).
