Christopher York

Mr. Christopher York is an Equity Research Analyst at JMP Securities LLC.
He is covering the commercial and specialty finance industries, including business development companies, or BDCs.
Prior to joining JMP Securities, he was an Equity Research Analyst at ROTH Capital Partners, where he helped re-establish the company’s financial services group, initiating coverage of companies in the specialty finance and mortgage finance industries.
Mr. York previously served as an Equity Research Associate at William Blair & Company, following commercial banks, specialty finance companies and electronic payment processors.
To begin his career, he was an origination Associate in the real estate capital markets group at Bank of America, after training as a Credit Analyst at LaSalle Bank.
Mr. York holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Investment Banking from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
