Charles L.
Stein has been Chief Operating Officer of Florida Public Utilities Co. since 2001 and Senior Vice President since 1997.
Previously, he had been Vice President of Florida Public Utilities since 1993.
Mr. Stein began his career with Florida Public Utilities in February 1980 as Distribution Superintendent in the South Florida Division and was appointed as Manager of Gas Operations for Florida Public Utilities in September 1986 and Vice President of Operations for the South and Central Florida Divisions in January 1993.
He is Secretary, Treasurer and a Director of the Florida Natural Gas Association, a Director and Treasurer of the Associated Gas Distributors of Florida, Inc. and a Member of the Southern Gas Association's Distribution Section Managing Committee.
Mr. Stein was President of the Florida Natural Gas Association and Chairman of the Southern Gas Association.
He received a BS in Civil Engineering from Rose Polytechnic Institute in Terre Haute and an MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati.
