Mr. Andrew W.
Folland is Vice President & Senior Research Analyst at Nuveen Asset Management LLC.
He oversees the Municipal Fixed Income Team, responsible for conducting fundamental credit analysis and contributing to relative value assessments with portfolio managers and traders.
He is assigned to cover high-yield project financings and corporate-backed holdings.
His areas of expertise include airlines, forest and paper products, basic materials (including alternative energy projects), investor-owned utilities in the Southern United States, and special assessment and tax districts in the Southern and Northeast regions.
He started working in the financial services industry in 1991.
Previously, Mr. Folland spent two years as a financial planner for Waddell & Reed and also worked as an assistant to the chief financial officer of a start-up technology company in Portland, Oregon.
Mr. Folland earned a B.A. in economics from Lewis & Clark College in Portland and an M.B.A. in finance from Loyola University, Chicago.
