Prior to Five Mile, Mr. Choi served as Vice President at Financial Security Assurance Inc. for six years where he was responsible for the analysis, due diligence, modeling and negotiation of the bond insurer's role in the issuance of a wide variety of mortgage and other asset backed securities.
For the three years preceding, he was an Associate in the law firm of Thacher Proffitt & Wood in New York City, where he represented issuers, underwriters and bond insurers in connection with the issuance of residential and commercial mortgage backed securities.
Mr. Choi holds a JD from Fordham University School of Law and a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois.
