Yuen May Choo is currently the Director of the International Society of Biocatalysis & Agricultural Biotech, a Member of The American Oil Chemists' Society, a Member of the Malaysian Estate Owners Association, a Council Member of the Malaysian Oil Scientists & Technologists Association, the Vice President of the Malaysian Invention & Design Society, a Member of the Womens Institute of Management, and a Member of the Nutrition Society of Malaysia.
Dr. Choo's former positions include Chairman of Institut Perladangan Dan Komoditi Malaysia, Independent Non-Executive Director of KLK Sawit Nusantara Bhd., Deputy General Director-Research & Development of the Malaysian Palm Oil Board, Director of the Malaysian Palm Oil Council, Director of Felda Global Ventures Plantations Sdn.
Bhd., President of the International Society For Fat Research, Trustee of the Malaysian Palm Oil Certification Council, and Member of the Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries.
Dr. Choo holds a doctorate from the University of Malaya, an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management, and undergraduate and graduate degrees from Waikato University.
