He is the author or co-author of four books, two of which have been international best-sellers: You’re in Charge, Now What? (Crown Business, January 2005), The 5 Patterns of Extraordinary Careers (Crown Business, August 2003), Zoom: How 12 Exceptional Companies are Navigating the Road to the Next Economy (Doubleday, January 2002), and Lessons from the Top: The Search for America’s Best Business Leaders (Doubleday, August 1999).
He has been a frequent guest on The Today Show, Good Morning America, CBS The Early Show, and Fox News and has also produced and hosted series on CNN’s Lou Dobbs Tonight and CNBC’s Squawk Box.
A 1981 graduate of Vassar College Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in economics, Mr. CitrinJim serves as a member of the Vassar Board of Trustees.
He earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School, graduating with distinction in 1986.
