David G. Moran

Mr. David G.
Moran is Head of Quantitative Techniques at HSBC Bank Plc.
He became the Head of Quantitative Techniques in 2005 and is responsible for the management of the teams in Edinburgh and in Bangalore.
Mr. Moran joined HSBC in September 1994 as a quantitative and systems analyst and has been directly involved with the support and development of all aspects of the Quantitative Techniques (QT) product.
In particular, during his career with HSBC, he has been responsible for quantitative analysis projects, index funds, and large restructuring programmes.
He is also responsible for overseeing new developments and product enhancements, and for the promotion of the QT product range both to external clients and internally within HSBC.
