Mr. Dan Cryan is Senior Director-Broadband Media at IHS Global Ltd.
He oversees the strategic development of the company's global output on the business and economics of broadband, the digital distribution of ebooks, movies, music, TV and user-generated content, and the relationship between content and consumer technology.
Since joining IHS in 2004, he pioneered and managed the company's market forecasting models in all of these areas, built on a granular service-by-service basis through direct relationships with service providers and content owners, which now underpin IHS’s digital media coverage – the first of its kind anywhere in the world.
He was also employed as Senior Director of Broadband Media by Screen Digest Ltd and Director-Digital Media at iSuppli Corp.
He received his BA and MA in Philosophy from the University of London.
