Arjen van Dijkhuizen

Mr. Arjen van Dijkhuizen is a Senior Economist at ABN AMRO Bank NV.
He is part of the Business Cycle Team.
Within this team, he analyzes developments in emerging economies.
His specific field of interest is emerging Asia, especially China.
Mr. Dijkhuizen has extensive experience with emerging economies, country risk and financial stability.
He held various positions at DNB in the fields of inter-national macro-economics and international finance.
He is well acquainted with the international financial institutions (ECB, IMF, BIS, OECD, Paris Club) and has advised the Ministry of Finance in various fields.
From 2002-2004, he was (co-)responsible for managing the USD and JPY reserves of DNB/ECB.
He studied General Economics at the RUG.
