Sean O'Donnell

Sean is an Operating Partner at Quantum and serves as Executive Vice President and CFO of Mexico Pacific Limited, a Quantum Energy Partners portfolio company.
Sean was previously a Partner at Quantum, and focused on equity and debt investments in the renewable power, LNG, CCUS and decarbonization sectors.
He led Quantum’s investment in Mexico Pacific Limited as part of the firm’s integrated decarbonization strategy of delivering US responsibly sourced natural gas to global energy markets.
Sean also co-founded and served as President and Chief Financial Officer of Quantum Utility Generation, a Quantum portfolio company focused on the thermal and renewable power space.
Prior to joining Quantum, Sean was a Managing Director in the Global Natural Resources investment banking group at J.P.
Morgan where he had responsibility for the North American power and renewable sectors.
Prior to his career with J.P.
Morgan, he was an officer in the U.S.
Navy.
Sean serves on the Board of St. Agnes Academy.
He holds a B.S.
in Civil Engineering from The Catholic University of America and an M.B.A.
in Finance from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
