Established in 2007 as Emirates Investment Services Asset Management by Emirates Bank International and Emirates Islamic Bank, their main stakeholders, the firm changed their name to Emirates NBD Asset Management Ltd. in 2011 and caters to the diverse client base served by Emirates Bank International and Emirates Islamic Bank. AmanahRaya Investment Management Sdn. Bhd. (ARIM) is the wholly-owned investment management subsidiary of Sindora Bhd., which is owned by Kulim (Malaysia) Bhd. in Malaysia. The firm was founded by Mohamed Azahari Kamil in 1994 and changed their name to AmanahRaya-JMF Asset Management Sdn Bhd. when they were acquired by JMF-Asset Management in 2005. In 2009, they became AmanahRaya Investment Management Sdn Bhd. Headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, ARIM offers one conventional fund and three Islamic funds to individual and institutional clients.
