Prior to joining SDI in August 2007, Mr. Junttila spent six years with Citi’s Investment Banking Division, as a Vice President in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group and as an Associate in the North American Power Group.
He advised on a number of strategic transactions, primarily within the power industry, including EDP’s acquisition of Horizon Wind Energy and Shell and Bechtel's sale of InterGen.
Mr. Junttila also executed a number of equity and debt financing transactions for clients such as: American Electric Power, DTE Energy, CMS Energy and PNM Resources.
Mr. Junttila holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Cand.
Mag.
(equivalent of a Bachelor’s Degree) from the University of Tromso in Tromso, Norway.
